D Soft was founded in 1998 and is a small, flexible SMB. The company is located in Drongen, near Ghent. D Soft has developed a variety of products that need to stimulate and simplify the use of electronic documents. Consequently, D Soft's activities are perfectly tuned to the technology of digital rights management (DRM) and the spread of protected documents. From its initial focus on CD-ROM technology,
D Soft has developed into an expert provider of electronic document solutions. Over that time the team has been involved in a broad range of PDF/XML-related technologies, including document encryption, management, workflow and on-demand publishing. The competences of the employees are situated in the .NET as well as the J2EE area.

 

D Soft provides solutions that enforce compliance with security policies and regulations. The client base ranges from Publishing, Government and Law to Industry, Finance, Insurance and Pharmaceuticals, … Our products are used by companies in various countries.
D Soft integrates support for the Belgian eID card in its applications and won the "Technical Impact Award" of the Microsoft eID project in 2004. In 2009 the European Union also noticed the successful implementation for issuing Certificates of Origin for the Chambers of Commerce, D Soft became finalist for the "European Egovernment Awards 2009".
D Soft is active in three areas: professional services, product development and ASP services.
   

Professional services

D Soft develops custom-made software projects. We offer full project guidance and support. Our team helps thinking along with you on both functionality and required infrastructure. Building the solution is performed by a multidisciplinary development team. Afterwards, D Soft can also support the application.

D Soft offers a number of ASP model based services and a modern, fully implemented server architecture, housed in a Level 3 datacenter. All the applications, both our own and for the customers, are hosted here. Our team is responsible for the daily technical routine.
