The RDW is the organisation that deals with the registration of motorised vehicles and driving licences in the Netherlands. The RDW has a great deal of expertise through years of experience in the execution of statutory and mandated tasks. Tasks in the field of:

• approval of vehicles and their parts
• supervision and enforcement
• registration
• supply of information
• document issuance

RDW carries out these tasks in close cooperation with various partners in the mobility chain. This gives RDW a clear position in this chain.

iSigner was integrated into the RDW application with the purpose of authenticating its official documents.
