We are looking for an experienced and strategically minded senior system administrator/technical architect (Full-time, m/f/x) who can take our infrastructure to the next level.

Your impact

In this senior role, you will be responsible for mapping, managing, and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will combine your technical knowledge with the ability to develop overarching IT strategies and translate them into practical solutions. You will oversee the entire IT environment, understand how all components are interconnected, and be able to translate complex environments into scalable, secure, and future-proof solutions.

What will you be doing?

• Managing, updating, and expanding our IT infrastructure, both on-premise and in the cloud.

• Leading technical projects such as migrations, security improvements, and automation processes.

• Proactively monitoring and optimizing Windows/Linux systems and networks.

• Implementing and managing container solutions with Kubernetes.

• Documenting architectural principles, standards, and procedures

• Performing operational configurations on our products for customers

• Collaborating with and coaching fellow system administrators

• Translating functional requirements into technical solutions

• Advising on technological choices and architectural principles

• Occasional trips to our data center in the Netherlands for specific projects and maintenance work

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in IT or equivalent through experience

• At least 5 years of experience in system administration and/or technical architecture

• In-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux, Kubernetes, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), networking, and security

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a complex IT environment

• Familiarity with automation and proactive monitoring using tools

• Strong communication skills and leadership potential

• Certifications such as Microsoft Azure Architect or similar are a plus
