Job description:

As a System Administrator / Tester you have a versatile role in which you are responsible for both managing our IT infrastructure and testing new software solutions. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our systems perform optimally and our software is of high quality.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining servers, networks and other IT infrastructures (Cloud and our data center in the Netherlands).

• Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues.

• Perform backups and ensure robust data recovery.

• Installing and configuring hardware and software.

• Developing and executing test plans and test cases.

• Identify and report bugs and other software issues.

• Collaborate with developers to deploy and verify solutions.

• Documenting system configurations, procedures, and test results.

Job requirements:

• At least a completed education in the direction of Computer Science, IT or a related field.

• Experience with system administration and network management.

• Experience with software testing and knowledge of testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with Windows and Linux server environments.

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proactive attitude and able to work both independently and in a team.
